Cyber Policy and Governance Officer

Canberra ACT | NV1 Clearance Required | 12-Month Contract + 12 month Extension

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Policy & Governance Officer to support a major Federal Government department's ICT Strategy and Governance function.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, review and maintain ICT and Cyber Security policies, standards and procedures.

* Prepare governance documentation including briefing papers, reports and executive correspondence.

* Coordinate governance and compliance responses supporting departmental and parliamentary requirements.

Required Experience

* Experience developing ICT, Cyber Security or Governance policies within Government or highly regulated environments.

* Strong knowledge of PSPF, ISM and Government governance frameworks.

* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.

* Experience supporting legislative, parliamentary or compliance reporting activities.

* Experience preparing governance, planning or assurance documentation.
