The Opportunity: Full-time on site opportunity at the Adelaide University

What You’ll Be Doing

This growth focused customer service role provides support to both existing and prospective Bupa customers, working on-site at the Adelaide University.

Servicing primarily overseas students as well as domestic students and staff, this role is crucial in ensuring Bupa can continue to work strategically with our partners in delivering health and care offerings to this evolving industry.

This role will require identification of new sales opportunities whilst growing Bupa’s impact on the health of its members through promotion of Bupa’s product suite.

Here's what you can look forward to in this role:

  • Represent Bupa in a professional and friendly manner always (critical as role is based on-site at our key partner institution)
  • Ability to promote and sell features and benefits of Bupa products to generate further revenue opportunities at our partner institutions
  • Have a desire to resolve all customer enquires first time and with urgency
  • Present at on-campus events such as orientations, onsite kiosks and health and wellness activations and promotions
  • Support student enquiries via phone, e-mail and digital channels
  • Promote Bupa as a health and care provider within the partner institutions and broader education sector
  • Switch students to Bupa OSHC from other OSHC providers
  • Up-sell Bupa product suite including extras cover, overseas visitors cover and domestic health insurance to increase the total Bupa sales revenue within our key clients
  • Monitor, evaluate and document the performance and outcomes of onsite activities and weekly tasks
  • Work in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously from home and across multiple site

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • Previous sales experience and customer service delivery
  • Flexibility to work across campuses and varying work schedules
  • Highly accountable with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and maintain strong time management
  • Ability to work well under competing pressures from varying channels
  • Knowledge of the Australian health insurance industry
  • Understanding of the overseas student market and/or exposure to the education sector. This can include being a previous International Student
  • Experience in presenting to large groups
  • Established effective communication strategies
  • Fluency in other languages is a great asset
