Senior Zero Harm Advisor

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Zero Harm Advisor to join our Energy and Utilities team supporting a major project based in Chambers Flat QLD. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving health safety and environmental performance across project delivery while embedding a strong Zero Harm culture.

Reporting to the Manager Zero Harm you will partner closely with operational leaders project teams and stakeholders to ensure robust systems compliance and continuous improvement across all aspects of Zero Harm.

This is a full time fixed term opportunity for two years with potential extension aligned to project timelines.

What we’re looking for

You are a proactive and influential safety leader with a strong track record of delivering health safety and environmental outcomes in complex project environments.

You will bring:

• Minimum eight years experience in health and safety roles with at least four years in leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 frameworks and Australian safety legislation
• Demonstrated experience implementing and improving Zero Harm systems across multi site operations
• Proven capability in incident investigation risk management and injury management
• Experience coaching and mentoring operational leaders and safety professionals
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Experience in construction or contracting environments ideally within utilities or infrastructure
• Relevant qualifications such as Advanced Diploma in OHS and associated certifications

You will also demonstrate strong communication problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills with a genuine commitment to fostering a culture of safety excellence.
