Are you a tech-savvy engineer with a passion for radio and live audio?

We are looking for a Broadcast Support Engineer to join our Radio Technology Engineering team! This will be an initial 3 month part time (30 hours weekly) contract role, with potential to convert to permanent.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our broadcast and technology systems, ensuring our stations stay on the air and our production teams have the tools they need to succeed.

You'll take ownership of cutting-edge broadcast systems, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and foster a culture of mentorship and knowledge-sharing. If you have a team-first attitude and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Day to day you will

  • Provide prompt, in-depth technical support for all broadcast systems and services, managing the lifecycle of incidents using our service delivery ticketing systems.
  • Take full ownership of the design, implementation, and support of assigned broadcast systems, including managing upgrades, requests, and change initiatives.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to develop workflows, adapt systems to business goals, and coordinate appropriate outage windows for system repairs.
  • Act as a mentor and role model within the team, actively contributing to user training, system documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience working within a team that supports broadcast and production systems.
  • Proven experience supporting audio, talkback, and communications production systems (both hardware and software).
  • A solid understanding of Broadcast IT infrastructure and workflows, such as Livewire, ST2110, Dante, and AES67.
  • A patient, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing objectives, and embrace a "We, not Me" team mindset.
  • Desirable: Experience with Axia, Lawo, VSM, Yamaha, Klotz, Protools, and Codecs (or equivalent).
