Expressions of Interest - Committee Member - Audit and Risk Committee

Baw Baw Shire Council Council is seeking to appoint an independent member to its Audit and Risk Committee for a period of three years, with a second three-year term option.

The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and experience in the operations of a large organisation, public sector management and an understanding of financial, management, risk, reporting and governance practices. Knowledge of cyber security practices and risks would be highly regarded.

An inquiring mind and the ability to analyse information will assist in carrying out this role.

The Audit and Risk Committee meets four times each year. Committee members are remunerated per meeting.
