More About Us

Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) is a local government authority covering an area over 282,000 Sq. kilometres. CDRC builds sustainable communities through traditional local government services such as waste management, road repair and upgrades, and community services (Community Safety, Children’s Services; Youth, Sport and Recreation, Aged Care) in 12 communities to the North of Alice Springs: Lajamanu, Ti Tree, Wilora, Nturiya, Pmara Jutunta, Willowra, Laramba, Nyirripi, Yuelamu, Atitjere, Engawala and Yuendumu. The Central Desert area is considered remote and disadvantaged and over 80% of the population are Aboriginal people.

The Role

The Employment Placement Services (EPS) Officer – RAES is responsible for managing the documentation, compliance, employer contact and evidence required to support outcome and incentive claims for RAES participants who have commenced employment. The role ensures all placement data, employer verification, evidence and system entries are accurate, up to date and compliant with funding requirements. Working from Alice Springs and travelling regularly to communities, the EPS Officer supports employers, Assistant Managers and RAES staff by coordinating post-placement checks, employer follow-up, and ensuring that all documentation is ready for claim lodgement.
