Senior Coordinator - Centre Day Care

Blacktown City Council

Job No: BC3596 Location: Blacktown, NSW

Serve with purpose. Grow through community.

Lead people, drive quality and shape the future of early childhood education and care across Blacktown City.

As Senior Coordinator - Centre Day Care, you will provide leadership and direction to a network of area managers, centre directors and educators across one of the largest local government operated early childhood services in New South Wales. You will strengthen leadership capability, support service excellence and contribute to positive outcomes for children, families and communities.

No two days are the same. One day you may be coaching leaders, reviewing service performance or supporting assessment and rating preparation. The next, you could be leading strategic projects, responding to complex operational matters, or working with stakeholders to improve outcomes across the service.

At Kids’ Early Learning, child safety is everyone's responsibility. We are committed to the Child Safe Standards and the principle of the paramountcy of the child, ensuring children's safety, wellbeing and best interests remain at the centre of every decision we make.

At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams – and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:

  • a secure, permanent role with one of Australia's largest councils
  • an entry level salary commencing at $2,623.25 per week
  • a 35-hour working week
  • a car allowance
  • access to Council's flextime arrangement
  • 12% superannuation and generous leave entitlements
  • ongoing training and development support
  • access to Fitness Passport, social clubs and wellbeing programs.
