Team Leader Greenspace Maintenance
Blacktown City Council
Work That Matters, Done With People Who Care.
We are looking for a Team Leader to guide a small crew maintaining formal gardens and landscaped public spaces. You will plan daily work, set clear standards and work alongside your team to keep sites at a high horticultural finish. Your focus is premier passive open spaces where presentation, safety and consistency matter.
Your day includes leading mowing and edging, organising hedge trimming, maintaining garden beds and checking irrigation. You will monitor plant health, respond to hazards and keep paths, lawns and garden areas tidy and safe. You will step in to support your crew and make sure work is completed properly and on time.
This work is visible. The parks and gardens you maintain are used every day by families, walkers and visitors. Clean edges, healthy plants and well-kept spaces help make these areas welcoming and easy to enjoy.
We support your growth with training, new skills and opportunities to step up. You will have reliable hours, the right tools and a team that takes pride in doing the job well.
This role suits someone who leads by example, enjoys outdoor work and values high standards in public spaces.
