What You'll Be Doing

As a Cancer Care Administration Officer, you will provide professional administrative support across a range of clinical and operational services within the Blacktown Cancer and Haematology Centre. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient patient management and supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care services.

  • Provide front line administration support across multiple cancer care services
  • Coordinate medical records management while maintaining confidentiality
  • Support multidisciplinary teams, clinics and infusion service operations
  • Prepare reports, enter data and manage documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Prioritise competing workloads and problem solve within a busy healthcare setting

How To Apply

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment in a patient focused area with previous experience working with oncology patients and/or in a hospital setting
  • Demonstrated advanced level computer skills including all aspects of MS Office, clinical databases and MS Outlook
  • Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, in particular data entry processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior clinicians and external staff effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within required KPI’s
  • Experience with medical terminology, and preferred experience with iPims and other hospital patient based programs
  • Excellence in personal work ethics in the daily performance of administrative duties
