We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional Senior Economic Development Partnerships and Investment Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to step in and contribute to impactful economic development initiatives while working alongside a talented and supportive team.
In this key role, you will lead the development and delivery of strategic partnerships and investment initiatives that support sustainable economic growth. You will work across government, industry and community sectors to identify opportunities, attract investment, and drive projects that enhance regional prosperity.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and managing high-value partnerships with public and private stakeholders
- Identifying and progressing investment opportunities aligned with strategic priorities
- Leading initiatives that strengthen economic growth and diversification
- Providing strategic advice and insights to internal and external stakeholders
About You
We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder engagement experience, commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver outcomes in a complex environment.
- Proven experience in economic development, investment attraction, partnerships, or a related field
- Tertiary qualification in economics, business, planning, public policy, or a related discipline
- Strong ability to build and maintain high-value stakeholder relationships across diverse sectors
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and progress opportunities
- Experience leading and delivering complex projects or initiatives
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to analyse economic data and translate insights into actionable strategies
