Mobilize is growing team delivering electrical infrastructure projects across major mining operations in Western Australia. This role combines site leadership with statutory Electrical Nominee responsibilities, overseeing electrical installation projects while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and workmanship.
The position operates on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, with occasional work from the Perth office on a standard 38-hour week when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electricians, apprentices and subcontractors across multiple project sites.
- Fulfil Electrical Nominee obligations in accordance with WA electrical regulations and licensing requirements.
- Manage and coordinate electrical installation projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, site requirements and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, resources, quality outcomes and programme schedules.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
- Liaise with clients, project teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor apprentices and support workforce development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate project, compliance and safety records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current WA Electrical Licence.
- S26 Supervisor Qualification (final assessment completed).
- Eligible to be appointed as an Electrical Nominee.
- Current LVR/CPR certification (within 12 months).
- Current Provide First Aid certification (within 3 years).
- Construction White Card.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Gas Testing certification.
- Basic Fire certification.
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical works within mining, industrial or construction environments.
Desirable
- Experience working on major WA mining sites.
- Current mining site inductions and associated competencies.
- Arc Flash and Low Voltage Rescue training for mining operations
