You want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.

In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering advice and assistance to TFNSW Staff and Contractors on a range of environmental and sustainability management, planning and assessment requirements to support compliance with environmental and sustainability frameworks, achieve required outcomes, and meet the expectations of the community of NSW

This role will see you work on some high-profile road projects around western Sydney where you will work as part of an embedded team to support the projects and operations.

You will review and prepare comprehensive environmental assessment documentation to support the assessment of environmental impacts in accordance with relevant legislation, systems, processes and best practice and ensure outcomes which meet community expectations.

Please note :This is a temporary Fixed Term role to 31.3.27 and is based at Parramatta and you will be attending sites in western Sydney.

About You

Your sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relating to good environmental and sustainability practice, policies, and procedures. formed across road infrastructure projects will see you excel in understanding and balancing environmental and sustainability obligations with the needs and expectations of various stakeholders and communities leading to successful outcomes while meeting project deadlines. You're recognised as an Environment & Sustainability professional, skilled at providing appropriate support and advice to the project stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to influence the implementation of best practice in a variety of ways across a high-profile Road Project in western Sydney.
