Pump Industry Manager (Gladstone)

We are looking for a leader that can provide overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of our Gladstone facility with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership, management and specialized support.

About Our Client

Fully integrated pump service provider, with a full portfolio of premier industrial products, including: Milton Roy API 675 metering pumps, Seepex API 676 helical rotor pumps, and Ebsray Vane and gear pumps. The Queensland facility provides aftermarket service, rebuild and repairs for a wide range of equipment in this fast-developing region.

What You Will Be Doing

• Utilise data and work integrally with the business to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide daily direction and guidance in areas of applications, proposals and order processing/management.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Review of pump specifications, proposal preparation, technical support to customers.
• Supporting the sales team in developing and growing long term relationships through routine, proactive and professional interactions with new and existing customers.
• Reporting on Backlog & Operational activities.
• Through management and direction ensure jobs are completed correctly, cost effectively and delivered on time in accordance with customer build specification and quality requirements.
• Lead and motivate a small team of skilled technicians and support staff.

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role within a small team, preferably in the pump industry.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, develop tailored solutions and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
