About the Role

We are looking for Dietitians to join the Department of Bariatric Medicine multi-disciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes through the provision of high-quality clinical services, case management, health promotion and quality improvement activities and education.

You will undertake high level comprehensive nutrition assessment and delivery of evidence-based interventions, with a particular focus on the management of patients living with obesity and chronic disease; work collaboratively in leading the coordination and implementation of research or quality improvement initiatives and service development activities under appropriate professional supervision.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years (ideally 5 years) post-qualification experience, ideally within bariatric care and/or chronic disease management.

  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
  • Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.

Note: There is one part-time (18:22) position available and the salary noted above will be paid pro rata, one permanent full-time position and one temporary position available for a period of six months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
