KGIT is seeking a highly capable and proactive Security Engineer – Endpoint & Desktop Security Specialist to join our growing cybersecurity team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in protecting enterprise devices and strengthening our security posture through modern endpoint security, device management, encryption, and identity-driven access controls.
Reporting directly to the CISO, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of endpoint security controls across the organisation, helping drive a mature Zero Trust security model.
About the Role
As the Endpoint & Desktop Security Specialist, you will be responsible for securing enterprise endpoints across a complex technology environment. You will work closely with security, infrastructure, and service delivery teams to ensure devices remain protected, compliant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical expertise with strategic security initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain endpoint security controls across enterprise devices
- Manage endpoint protection, threat detection, and response capabilities
- Develop and enforce secure device configuration baselines aligned with industry best practices
- Manage device compliance, patching, and configuration management processes
- Implement and maintain full-disk encryption and key management practices
- Monitor endpoint security posture and drive remediation activities
- Support Zero Trust initiatives through device trust and access control integration
- Partner with security operations teams to enhance detection and response capabilities
- Evaluate, test, and implement new endpoint security technologies
- Develop and maintain security standards, documentation, and policies
About You
- 2–5+ years of experience in endpoint security, device management, infrastructure security, or a related cybersecurity role
- Strong understanding of endpoint security technologies and modern security controls
- Experience managing enterprise endpoint environments across Windows and mobile platforms
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and key management practices
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and device-based access controls
- Familiarity with authentication and networking protocols
- Experience with scripting, automation, or security tooling is highly regarded
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting large-scale or multi-tenant environments
- Exposure to enterprise endpoint management platforms
- Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards, and security maturity models
- Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, Microsoft Security, or similar
