About The Role
Based at our Lidcombe processing site and reporting to the National Quality Manager. You'll work alongside our passionate production teams and the broader business to help produce seafood we are truly proud of.
Key responsibilities include
- Lead alongside operations by fostering accountability and an interdependent quality culture that protects our people, our consumers, and our brand.
- Drive the site’s food safety management through HACCP, prerequisite programs, Quality KPIs, and compliance to the quality management system.
- Drive continuous improvement in the Assurance space and support other initiatives and projects across the business.
- Collaborate with relevant teams during product development including technical support and trials.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and development for the onsite Quality Partner.
About You
We're looking for an individual who’s partnering style is practical, collaborative and pragmatic. Enjoys immersing themselves in the operation. You're self-motivated, proactive, and energised by opportunity. You bring a minimum of 2 years in a similar leadership role, with external HACCP training, internal auditor training, and proficiency with Microsoft Suites.
You will possess
- A track record of building relationships and influencing key partners resulting in a high-level accountability and an interdependent culture.
- Senior quality experience in the food industry (chilled, short-shelf-life, ready-to-eat food highly desirable).
- A passion for working alongside operations and sharing ownership of product quality, improvement opportunities and management of risk.
