About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE), working across our Gold Coast sites, including Southport.
In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care and clinical support within a medical imaging environment. You will work closely with Radiologists and clinical teams to support a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
You will be responsible for delivering safe, timely and patient-centred care, along with associated administrative and clinical governance tasks in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessment, monitoring and preparation before, during and after imaging procedures
- Perform cannulation and manage IV access for contrast administration
- Assist Radiologists with interventional and imaging procedures
- Provide post-procedure care, observation and discharge support
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support compliance with clinical governance, policies and protocols
- Manage clinical stock and contribute to operational efficiency
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, comfort and confidentiality

Is This Role Right for You?
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in patient assessment and acute clinical care
- Competence in cannulation and IV contrast administration
- Current BLS certification and ability to respond to emergencies (e.g. MET calls, anaphylaxis)
- Strong communication skills with patients, families and clinical teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands in a fast-paced setting
- High attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation
- Experience with electronic medical records and radiology systems (desirable)
- Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving ability
- Capacity to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites
