About the Role
Team Global Express is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Palletised Express operation based at Perth Airport.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the branch operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of services while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader within transport, freight, logistics or supply chain operations to make a significant impact within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and promote a strong Safety First culture across the operation
Drive operational performance, productivity and DIFOT outcomes
Manage labour planning, fleet utilisation and operational resources
Lead, coach and develop frontline leaders and operational teams
Manage branch budgets and contribute to commercial performance
Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and customer focus
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated leadership experience within transport, freight, logistics, warehousing or a related operational environment
Strong people leadership and coaching capabilities
Proven ability to manage operational performance and achieve business objectives
Experience managing budgets, resources and workforce planning
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Commitment to safety, customer service and operational excellence
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management or a related field are desirable
Current Driver's Licence
Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations
Experience working within a safety-focused operational environment
