We are on the hunt for three enthusiastic Associate Full Stack Engineers to join a massive Trade Finance initiative at a Tier 1 Australian Bank. Based in the heart of the Sydney CBD with a flexible hybrid WFH model, this is your chance to write clean code, tinker with AI, and build a lasting career!

This is a 12-month engagement with a very high likelihood of ongoing extensions or even a permanent transition down the line.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be diving into the bank's Trade Finance domain, working across an ecosystem of 11 different product sets. You'll be collaborating with a sharp, supportive team to build, optimize, and maintain critical applications that power global trade.

The Tech Stack & Requirements

• 3-5 Years of Experience: (We are flexible! If you are slightly more junior but have incredible potential and drive, we still want to hear from you).

• Core Languages: Solid experience in

  Java

  OR Python.

• AI Enthusiast: You've had some exposure to AI or analytics tools. The team currently uses VS Code, AMP, GitHub, and Co-Pilot, but any AI exposure is a massive plus!

• The "Legacy" Bonus: The environment does touch on COBOL (mainframe). Don't panic - you don't need to be a mainframe master, but an open mind to working around it is key.

• Communication: Brilliant soft skills. You can explain complex code to non-technical folks and love working collaboratively.

The Fine Print

• Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid / WFH model).

• Working Rights: You must have full working rights in Australia to apply. (Note: To be eligible for the permanent transition pathway within the bank later on, you will need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
