Senior Legal Counsel - Energy Infrastructure

We are partnering with a well established global infrastructure business to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Counsel. This is a key growth role.

You will join a high-calibre, commercially focused legal team and play a central role in enabling the business to secure and deploy power at scale, supporting both current operations and new market entries in this fast-moving, high-stakes sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal support on energy procurement and power arrangements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), grid connection and access agreements, energy offtake structures, and hedging arrangements.
• Support corporate transactions, project financings, and related deals tied to energy assets and infrastructure platforms.
• Advise on the development and delivery of energy and data centre infrastructure projects, including EPC and construction contracts, equipment supply agreements, and operations & maintenance (O&M) arrangements.
• Partner closely with commercial, development, and technical teams to structure bankable, scalable energy solutions for large-scale power users.
• Manage external counsel efficiently across multiple jurisdictions (primarily Australia, US, and Canada).
• Provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal and commercial advice to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-growth environment.

About You

• 6+ years post-qualification experience from a top-tier firm
• Commercially sharp, pragmatic, and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth global business.
• Genuine interest in the intersection of renewable energy, infrastructure development, and next-generation technology.
