Investment Operations Senior Associate

About The Role

Our long-standing client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join their Investment Operations team in Brisbane CBD. This role sits within a specialised alternatives team and is highly process-oriented, with a focus on approvals, cash management and maintaining robust operational controls.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of day-to-day processes, while supporting risk management and delivering a high standard of service across the platform. This is well suited to someone who enjoys working in structured environments and takes a methodical, analytical approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve cash payments and operational transactions
• Oversee reconciliations, unit pricing and daily control processes
• Support trade and post-trade activities across alternative investments
• Investigate and resolve exceptions, discrepancies and breaks
• Ensure adherence to established processes, controls and governance frameworks
• Identify and support process improvements within a structured environment

About You

• Experience working in a middle office environment of a custodian, stockbroker, or funds management firm
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, cash management and operational controls
• Experience in a role involving oversight, review or approvals
• Highly detail-oriented with a critical and analytical mindset
• Comfortable working in a process-driven, high-volume environment
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
