Solutions Architect

12-month Contract Opportunity | Brisbane (Hybrid)

We're partnering with a large enterprise undergoing a significant transformation of its architecture capability and are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to play a key role in driving real delivery outcomes.

This is not a traditional advisory architecture position. You'll be embedded within project and technical teams, translating architecture strategy into practical solution designs that can be delivered and implemented.

Key Responsibilities

Design enterprise-scale solutions aligned to architecture standards and principles

Facilitate architecture workshops and design sessions with technical stakeholders

Review and challenge solution designs across multiple projects

Present architecture outcomes to governance and review boards

Contribute to architecture standards, patterns and best practices

Work within Agile delivery environments, managing architecture deliverables through a prioritised backlog

Technical Environment

• Microsoft Azure

• Integration Architecture (APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices)

• Data Platforms including Snowflake and SQL Server

• .NET and Python environments

• SAP and enterprise application ecosystems

• Microsoft Power Platform

We're looking for someone who brings

Proven Solution Architecture experience in complex enterprise environments

Strong cloud architecture expertise (Azure preferred)

Experience working closely with engineering and delivery teams

Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to balance architecture governance and project outcomes

• TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework exposure

• SAP integration experience

• Software engineering or technical leadership background

• Experience contributing to architecture practice maturity
