The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to work closely alongside the firm's Managing Partner in a genuine 2IC capacity.

This role offers a broad mix of commercial advisory and transactional work, including commercial contracting, software development and licensing, privacy compliance, corporate governance, business structuring, mergers and restructures.

A standout feature of this opportunity is the firm's strong focus on charities and not for profits. You will advise clients on charity establishment and structuring, governance, fundraising compliance and ACNC and ATO obligations, providing meaningful and purpose driven work alongside a broader commercial practice.

You will also play an important role in mentoring and supporting junior lawyers while helping to manage and grow key client relationships.

The Right Person

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 5+ years' PAE with a strong background in commercial advisory and transactional matters

• Experience managing client relationships and providing practical, commercially focused advice

• The confidence to work autonomously while also acting as a trusted second-in-command to a Partner

• A genuine interest in mentoring and supporting junior lawyers

• Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
