    • Funding and equity considerations
  • Advise on tax‑effective structuring for:
    • Property development projects
    • Long‑term investment portfolios
    • Managed investment trusts
  • Deliver tax planning and structuring advice across income tax, CGT, GST, and related property tax issues
  • Support project and portfolio reporting, including:
    • Project performance reporting
    • Structuring implications for financial and management reporting
  • Manage and review a tailored mix of compliance and advisory work for property‑focused clients
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to owners, CFOs and boards
  • Mentor and develop managers, senior associates and juniors within the team
  • Contribute to business development, technical leadership and growth of the Real Estate Tax and Advisory offering within Private Enterprise

  • Qualification(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
  • CA / CPA qualified, or other relevant industry accreditation(s)
  • Significant experience as a Manager or Senior Manager in Private Enterprise, Business Services, and / or Corporate Tax
  • Strong exposure to property development and investment clients, with an interest in advisory-led work rather than ‘pure’ compliance
  • Practical experience advising property and trust structures, development and investment feasibilities, and tax planning for private groups and funds
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax and structuring issues into commercial, practical advice
  • High-level client engagement skills, with the ability to liaise directly with Partners and senior leaders
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to coach, train and provide development opportunities to other team members

If you’re interested in this role but don’t feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.
