Product Marketing Manager - B2B Marketplace

We're looking for someone who sits at the intersection of product, growth, customer behavior, and commercial outcomes. Someone who understands how products are positioned and brought to market, but who is equally passionate about demand generation, conversion optimisation, experimentation, and growth.
You'll join a growing Australian business operating across B2B marketplaces and finance products, helping shape how we attract customers, improve conversion, identify opportunities, and build scalable growth engines.
This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and direct access to the founders. You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction, customer acquisition, growth strategy, and commercial outcomes.
The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for understanding customers, identifying opportunities, improving acquisition and conversion performance, and helping shape products and solutions that deliver genuine value.
This role goes beyond traditional product marketing. You'll work across demand generation, performance marketing, customer insights, funnel optimisation, AI-assisted workflows, and growth initiatives that directly impact revenue.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and executing growth initiatives across B2B products and marketplaces
- Understanding customer behaviour, pain points, and buying decisions
- Identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates throughout the customer journey
- Working across acquisition channels including paid, content, retargeting, and demand generation initiatives
- Leveraging customer insights and data to influence product improvements and new opportunities
- Running experiments and testing new ideas to improve performance
- Building and optimising scalable growth systems and processes
- Utilising AI tools and automation to improve productivity and marketing effectiveness
- Collaborating closely with leadership to drive commercial outcomes
About You
You may currently be a Product Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, Demand Generation Manager, Product Growth Manager, or similar.
What matters most is that you're commercially minded and enjoy being hands-on.
You'll likely bring
- Experience across Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Demand Generation, or Performance Marketing
- Experience within B2B SaaS, marketplaces, lead generation businesses, fintech, or high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, conversion funnels, and growth metrics
- Ability to translate customer insights into commercial outcomes
- Experience running experiments and using data to drive decisions
- Curiosity around AI and modern growth tools
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to execute independently
