HR Director – Luxury Fragrance & Cosmetics Business

We are partnering with a leading luxury fragrance and cosmetics business undergoing an exciting phase of evolution and continued global growth. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR Director to step into a highly visible leadership role, shaping both people strategy and organisational capability at an executive level.

This role sits on the Executive Leadership Team and plays a critical part in driving the people agenda across the business. While the direct team structure is lean, with two regional HR team members providing support, the impact and influence of this position is significant, spanning strategy, leadership development, organisational design, and cultural evolution across multiple markets.

We are seeking a commercially minded HR leader who is comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels. You will be a trusted advisor to the executive team and senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate business priorities into meaningful people strategies that support performance, growth, and long-term capability building.

Importantly, this is not a traditional or purely supportive HR role. We are looking for someone who will actively contribute to shaping the direction of the business and is confident constructively challenging thinking at senior level. You will not simply be a “yes person” you will bring a considered, commercially grounded perspective and be comfortable engaging in robust discussion with senior leaders, including Peter and the broader executive team, to ensure the best outcomes for the business as a whole.

Key areas of responsibility will include

* Leading the development and execution of the people strategy aligned to business objectives

* Acting as a key advisor to the executive leadership team on all people and culture matters

* Driving organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership capability

* Supporting a high-performance, values-led culture across global and regional teams

* Overseeing core HR operations with support from regional HR team members

* Partnering closely with leadership on change management and business transformation initiatives

The ideal candidate will bring experience operating at a senior HR leadership level within a premium, luxury, or brand-led environment. You will be confident navigating complex stakeholder environments, influencing without authority, and balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.
