A leading global investment bank is seeking an experienced Vice President / Associate Director to join its Energy team within a broader Energy, Mining & Industries platform. The hire reflects continued growth across the Australian and New Zealand markets, with sustained deal flow and increasing client activity across structured lending, project finance and advisory mandates.

The opportunity will involve leading and supporting the execution of complex energy sector transactions, working closely with senior bankers, clients and internal stakeholders across Australia, APAC and offshore teams. The successful candidate will contribute across origination, credit processes, financial modelling, transaction structuring and advisory execution, with early responsibility and client exposure across a range of strategic mandates.

The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years’ experience across project finance, structured finance, infrastructure advisory or related investment banking environments. Candidates from global banks, specialist advisory platforms or relevant energy-focused financing teams will be considered. Strong technical capability across financial modelling, valuation, credit analysis and transaction execution is required, alongside demonstrated experience managing junior team members and delivering complex financing solutions within the energy sector.
