At some firms, a Supervisor is still hidden behind a Partner, preparing workpapers and waiting for someone else to have the interesting conversations.

This role is for a CA-qualified Business Services Supervisor who wants to step into a genuine advisory position, working directly with business owners and decision-makers across a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from approximately $2–3 million turnover businesses through to groups generating more than $150 million.
You'll spend roughly half your time providing strategic advice rather than simply preparing compliance work. Conversations regularly cover:
- Buying and selling businesses
- Business restructures
- Property acquisitions and disposals
- Entering and exiting property syndicates
- Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) implications
- Share buybacks
- Superannuation strategies
- Tax planning and business growth initiatives
The firm is seeking someone with:
- CA qualification (essential)
- 5+ years' Business Services experience within public practice
- Strong technical tax and accounting knowledge
- Proven experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
- The confidence and communication skills to build trusted client relationships
