Full Time Salary $125,000- $134,716 plus Superannuation (salary based on experience)

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Clinician — Service Improvement & Outreach Support to play a pivotal role in strengthening our throughcare model and enhancing the quality and integration of services supporting reintegration and reduced recidivism.

Your Key Impact Areas

The Senior Clinician provides advanced clinical leadership, service improvement oversight, and program development expertise across custody and community outreach environments. This role ensures continuity of care from in-custody interventions through to post-release supports across multiple domains.

Working collaboratively with custody staff, community providers, justice partners, and internal teams at Ravenhall, Fulham, and the Community Reintegration Centre, you will champion evidence‑informed practice, drive quality improvement, and enhance service integration to improve client wellbeing.

Clinical Leadership & Service Improvement

  • Lead innovative and continuous quality improvement initiatives aligned with program goals.
  • Provide advanced clinical leadership, consultation, and expert advice on rehabilitation, reintegration, and Continuum of Care strategies.
  • Oversee clinical service delivery across outreach locations, including programs related to family engagement, substance use, cultural support, and offending behaviour.

Program Development & Evaluation

  • Develop, support, and monitor new and innovative rehabilitation and reintegration programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Throughcare Services teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Contribute to program evaluations and evidence-informed practice development.
  • Partner with the GEO Research and Evaluation Team to integrate recommendations from formal evaluations.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
  • Analyse service data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on service outcomes, performance indicators, and client engagement metrics.
  • Maintain compliance with organisational and regulatory standards, clinical documentation requirements, and privacy frameworks.
  • Participate in audits, quality reviews, and continuous professional development.

Workforce Capability

  • Provide operational and/or clinical supervision to outreach staff.
  • Offer coverage for clinical service delivery as required.
  • Participate in supervision training and ongoing professional development.

About You

You will have:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Credentialed Mental Health Nurse (AHPRA/AASW as applicable).
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a registered practitioner delivering assessments, individual and group interventions in clinical, correctional, or related settings.
  • Strong understanding of What Works principles, the Good Lives Model (GLM), and Risk–Need–Responsivity (RNR) frameworks.
  • Advanced clinical assessment and intervention capability, with experience supervising multi‑disciplinary staff.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret and utilise service data.
  • Knowledge of justice‑involved populations and reintegration challenges.
  • Experience in program evaluation or service improvement initiatives.
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across complex systems and multidisciplinary environments.
  • Cultural competence and a trauma‑informed practice approach.
