Project & Master Schedulers

We're building a network of serious Defence schedulers - people who know their way around CASG, speak ODCS fluently, and have actually delivered Integrated Master Schedules across acquisition programs. Not a database of names. A bench of people we already know, trust, and can call as the work lands.

If you're currently embedded in Defence, supporting a major capability program, or delivering high quality planning and scheduling in industry - we'd like to know.

The Work

When opportunities arise, they'll span complex Defence capability programs operating within the One Defence Capability System (ODCS). Depending on seniority and program requirements, work typically includes:

– Development and maintenance of project and program-level IMS across acquisition lifecycle stages

– Alignment to capability milestones, government approvals and gated reviews — including First and Second Pass

– Schedule integrity management, dependency analysis and critical path oversight

– Resource loading and levelling to support realistic and defensible planning assumptions

– Support to governance activities: IBRs, PMRs, SRAs and related review forums

– Schedule health assessment, performance reporting and variance analysis

– Integration of contractor and Commonwealth schedules for program-level visibility

– Development of WBS structures, dictionaries and scheduling artefacts aligned to Defence and CASG standards

Senior and Master-level practitioners will also be expected to lead schedule integration across multiple projects, provide strategic scheduling advice to Program Directors, and conduct assurance activities.

Who We're Looking For

You'll be comfortable in complexity and confident enough to push back. Specifically:

– Active security clearance

– Demonstrated IMS delivery within Defence or construction and resource sectors

– Solid working knowledge of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS)

– Experience across acquisition lifecycle stages — First and Second Pass preferred

– Proficiency in scheduling tools and artefacts (Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent)

– Comfortable operating in governance-heavy environments without losing momentum
