The Cardiac Inpatient Unit at the Children's Hospital at Westmead is a dynamic ward caring for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with congenital, inherited and acquired heart disease. The provision of care extends from day catheter procedures to complex open heart surgeries, arrhythmias, transplantation and ventricular assist devices. Paediatric cardiac development opportunities are available to staff new to paediatrics and cardiology. A 12-hour flexible roster pattern is available for full and part time staff.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Current Acute Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Effective time management skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
