Role Description/Criteria

St Mary's School is seeking a Digital Technologies/STEM Leader (0.3 FTE) to join our growing school community. This fixed-term position will commence in Term Three, 2026.

In addition to the criteria outlined in the Role Description attached for this position, the following are key criteria.

Key Criteria

  • Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Catholic School
  • Possess expert knowledge and understanding of current thinking and research into curriculum, pedagogy, contemporary learning and the Victorian Curriculum 2.0
  • Be committed to implement the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement frameworks
  • Be skilled in the use of digital education
  • Have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with all members of the school community
  • Have a strong commitment to fostering team processes and an ability to support, contribute, initiate, and implement change in line with the school's improvement plan and Annual Action Plan

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Hold current VIT Registration
  • Hold Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School or be willing to undertake studies to complete this within a three year period.
