Your new role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work across a complex technology landscape, partnering with stakeholders to analyse systems, define requirements and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
You will support the delivery of technology-driven outcomes by ensuring business requirements are clearly understood, documented and translated into effective solutions, with a particular focus on data integrity, governance and system improvements.
Key responsibilities will include
- Acting as the interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Analysing existing systems, processes and data to identify improvement opportunities
- Gathering, documenting and validating business and functional requirements, user stories and process flows
- Supporting data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, consistency and compliance across systems
- Contributing to and supporting data migration activities, including mapping, validation and transition processes
- Collaborating with delivery teams to support design, build and implementation activities
- Contributing to solution design through feasibility, cost and gap analysis
- Supporting governance processes, identifying risks and recommending improvements
- Building strong stakeholder relationships to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Demonstrated experience with data governance frameworks and data migration projects
- Experience working with SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 suite (e.g. Teams, Power Platform, Excel)
- Experience working with cloud technologies and data-driven environments
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile or iterative delivery frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (desirable)
