Key Responsabilities

Support Implementation of Sustainability Initiatives

  • Assist in embedding sustainability into design and construction activities.
  • Implement sustainability actions aligned with project objectives and plans.

Sustainability Ratings & Certifications

  • Support sustainability rating tool submissions (e.g., ISCA, Green Star) – if applicable
  • Package and review documentation for certification processes under guidance.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Manage data flows for monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability performance reports.
  • Support reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Attend and contribute to environment, sustainability, design, and construction meetings.
  • Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure sustainability requirements are understood and met.

Training & Awareness

  • Support sustainability inductions and training sessions for project personnel.
  • Assist in developing and delivering sustainability awareness campaigns.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Monitor WHS and environmental performance within assigned areas.
  • Ensure compliance with the WHS Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan, and Quality Management Plan.

Technical Support & Leadership

  • Provide technical input to design and construction teams under direction.
  • Encourage adoption of new technologies and sustainability innovations.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

Promote health and wellbeing initiatives on the project

Your Profile

  • Degree or post-secondary qualification (TAFE certificate or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sustainability, environmental management, finance, reporting, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Initial experience working with and analysing data within the construction industry or a related sector.
  • Practical proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, data transformation, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in relation to carbon emissions and quantity-related data.
  • Understanding of industry-specific legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using workplace tools, software applications, and professional digital platforms
