We are seeking an experienced IBM Managed File Transfer (MFT) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining IBM MFT solutions, with a strong focus on integrating secure file transfer protocols and ensuring compliance with Zero Trust Architecture principles. This role requires hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IDAM) systems, SFTP configuration, and a proven ability to work within highly secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support IBM MFT workflows and processes for secure file exchanges across internal and external networks.
• Integrate MFT solutions with IDAM platforms, ensuring robust authentication, authorization, and auditing in line with Zero Trust Architecture.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize SFTP connections for secure data transfers.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce Zero Trust policies, continuously monitor access, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Document technical solutions, best practices, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM MFT technologies (e.g., IBM Sterling, IBM Connect: Direct).
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture concepts and practical application in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in integrating MFT solutions with IDAM tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, IBM Security Verify).
• Solid knowledge of SFTP protocols, encryption standards, and secure file transfer practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and optimize performance for secure file transfers.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in IBM MFT technologies or cyber security.
• Familiarity with Australian regulatory requirements for data security and privacy.
• Experience working in agile or DevOps environments.
