About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is energised by the chase, confident starting conversations from scratch and motivated by winning new work. In this role, you will own the North East Brisbane suburbs territory and target opportunities across schools, high rise apartments, hospitals, retirement villages and shopping centres.
- Territory ownership: North East suburbs of Brisbane with genuine runway to build your pipeline and make your mark.
- Support to help you close: dedicated sales mentoring, estimating/scoping training and support preparing proposals and tenders.
- Core focus: prospecting, opening doors, building relationships, pricing/tendering work and converting opportunities into profitable projects.

- Keeping a healthy pipeline moving with strong CRM discipline, clear next steps and consistent activity levels.
- Measuring and scoping projects for quoting, then preparing and presenting solution-based proposals and tender responses.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven success in B2B sales, business development or solution selling with a strong new-business focus.
- A hunter mindset - you are comfortable prospecting, making first contact, qualifying opportunities and asking for the next step.
- Resilience, drive and self-motivation, with the discipline to keep momentum through a longer sales cycle.
- CRM proficiency and a structured approach to managing activity, follow-up and forecasts.
- Nice to have - experience in commercial painting, facilities maintenance, construction, building, or similar industries.
