• Location: Parramatta (close to public transport)
• Contract: Monday to Friday, standard business hours, 12-month temp (high likelihood of permanency)
• Rate: $38.99/hr + Super

About The Project

We are partnering with a Big 4 Bank bank to recruit an experienced Operations Officer for their Parramatta team. You will be stepping into a fast-paced environment handling a high-profile retail brand migration onto a centralized core platform.

This is a great opportunity to gain project experience while utilizing your commercial lending or equipment finance background.

Key Responsibilities

Working within Group Operations, you will manage the end-to-end processing of commercial facilities:

• Originations & Setup: Onboard and set up new business lending and equipment finance applications in the core system.
• Settlements: Coordinate the settlement pipeline—verifying documentation, ensuring compliance/legislative requirements are met, and releasing funds.
• Portfolio Migration: Assist in moving existing customer data and facilities from the legacy brand systems onto the central platform.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal business partners, brokers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery and problem resolution.

What You Need

To be successful, you must have immediate, practical experience in banking operations:

• Banking Knowledge: Prior experience in banking operations, lending support, or credit is essential.
• Technical Skills: Fast learner with banking platforms and strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Work Ethic: Ability to handle high volumes, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure in a project-driven environment.
• Communication: Strong phone etiquette and the ability to build quick relationships with business partners.
