Part of Austin Group’s portfolio of iconic Australian owned fashion brands, Cable is a premium womenswear brand with strong foundations and exciting digital growth plans. Based at our Support Office in Malvern and reporting to the Head of eCommerce, this role will own the day-to-day trade, optimisation and operational execution of Cable’s online channels.

This is a great opportunity for someone who lives and breathes eCommerce and digital, enjoys taking ownership, and is excited by the opportunity to get involved with a fast growing brand. You’ll need to be commercially focused, proactive and comfortable working in an environment where priorities move quickly and everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves.

You will add significant value through

  • Owning the day-to-day trade and performance of Cable’s online sales channels to ensure online sales targets are met
  • Managing website updates, product launches, product enrichment, onsite merchandising, campaign execution and promotional changeovers in line with the trade calendar
  • Leading website optimisation initiatives that improve the customer experience, remove friction and drive conversion
  • Supporting the development and execution of the Cable Melbourne eCommerce and Omnichannel roadmap, including website enhancements, digital projects, new functionality and process improvements
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team and digital partners to ensure EDMs, social, paid search, SEO and content activity are supported across the website and key eCommerce touchpoints
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Creative, CRM, Merchandise Planning, Product and Production teams to ensure campaigns, content and product stories are delivered effectively across all eCommerce touchpoints
  • Partnering with Customer Service, Retail Operations, Online Returns and fulfilment partners to support a seamless customer experience across order fulfilment, delivery and returns
  • Presenting key metrics and insights to stakeholders to demonstrate performance of various digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technology to identify opportunities to grow the eCommerce channel and drive online sales performance

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is excited by the opportunity to make an impact in a growing brand. You’ll be commercially savvy, curious and performance driven, with the ability to balance hands-on execution with continuous improvement and longer-term digital growth.

You’ll be confident working across trading, website management, digital marketing, content, reporting, customer experience and operations. You’ll also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you may need to move between strategic thinking and detailed execution.

You will have

  • Demonstrated experience in an eCommerce Manager role within retail or at a digital agency, or strong experience as an eCommerce Coordinator ready for the next step
  • Experience using Shopify, Magento or similar eCommerce platforms. International Shopify Markets experience is desirable
