About the role
The P&C Officer - Training position will provide general administrative support such as the end-to-end management of compliance training, data entry into the HR System (Oracle HCM) and reporting to support the smooth running of the P&C Business Unit. This role also supports administration for Early Careers programs including surveys, career expos and grant funding, and learning and development programs including study assistance, Quick Reference Guides, general enquiries and other Learning and Organisational Development projects.
On a daily basis you will:
- Coordinate compliance training through external providers
- Coordinate procurement activities, including invoice processing and purchase orders, in line with Council procurement guidelines.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Provide business support including reports, guides and record keeping Respond to general enquiries
About You
The successful candidate should have superior written and verbal skills, excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, collaborate and develop effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will also bring:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within Human Resources or within an administrative function
- Previous experience using HR Systems. .
- Certificate IV in HR, Business, or Administration discipline and/or experience in a comparable role. Experience with council’s procurement process is desirable
