Position: Full-Time Cook

Salary: $73,150 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on experience)

Sage Yellowfin is a contemporary Australian restaurant located in South Bank, Brisbane, specialising in premium seafood, quality steaks, and seasonal local produce.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to established recipes and standards
Assist in seafood, grill, and hot section operations
Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Assist with stock rotation and inventory control
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Support menu consistency during busy service periods

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
Relevant Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
