Position: Full-Time Cook

Salary: $73,150 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on experience)

Sage Yellowfin is a contemporary Australian restaurant located in South Bank, Brisbane, specialising in premium seafood, quality steaks, and seasonal local produce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in seafood, grill, and hot section operations
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with stock rotation and inventory control
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Support menu consistency during busy service periods

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
  • Relevant Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
