We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Producer to join our Sydney Breakfast show on a 10-month parental leave cover, to manage all elements of the designated show, and to produce the timely and seamless execution of world class radio.
Broadly, your key responsibilities will include
- Working with the team and the Program Director to ideate and execute compelling content targeted to our core demographic
- Ensure Ricki-Lee + Tim are fully briefed and prepared and understand every element that is happening on the Breakfast Show.
- Manage and inspire a high performing breakfast team (On and off the air)
- Book the biggest guests on the planet
- Answer phones (you never let a call to the studio go unanswered!)
- Work with production every day to organise any required audio for the Breakfast Show
- Influence content to ensure flawless on-target execution
- Build segments and manage weekly benchmarks for on-air execution
- Manage client promotions, crediting and breakfast sponsorships
- Work productively alongside talent in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Identify opportunities for content in everyday life and craft that into world class radio.
- Panel segments or shows so you will be required to have a thorough understanding of Zetta
- Ensure the energy and mood in the studio is always positive and fun
Why we will want to meet you
- You have previous experience as a Senior Producer for a live radio show
- You have completed the Commercial Radio Code of Conduct training (desirable)
- Experience in organising on-air interviews with external talent and their management (desirable)
- Have a love, passion and deep knowledge of music, local current affairs and pop culture.
