Every fridge tells a story. This one is ours – and it’s getting bigger.
Chobani Australia was formed in 2011 following the acquisition of Gippsland Dairy, alongside the Chobani brand. Guided by our belief that food can be a force for good – and our purpose, Good Food For All – we make Chobani and Gippsland Dairy yogurt in Dandenong South, focusing on food that’s delicious, nutritious, natural and accessible.
We’re building the next chapter of growth – investing in major site upgrades and new capability to meet demand and deliver on our aspiration: in every fridge, everywhere, every day.
Chobani is a place for people who like pace and ownership. We keep standards high, back people to stretch, and hire for attitude – if you set goals, deliver, learn fast and keep raising the bar, you’ll feel right at home here.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Lead to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to help deliver a critical capability for the business. This is a newly created role within our Science & Innovation team, focused on the implementation, integration and ongoing governance of SAP PLM as the central source of truth for product and specification data.
This role sits at the intersection of systems, data and product. You’ll play a key role in establishing SAP PLM for the site, supporting system design, testing and rollout, while ensuring product and specification data is accurate, connected and accessible across the business.
In this role, you will:
- Support SAP PLM design, implementation and testing across the site, including working with stakeholders to understand how data is created, used and flows across systems and functions
- Map and align data across multiple systems, improving consistency and reducing manual workarounds Contribute to integration approaches (e.g. APIs, data flows and system connections) alongside technical teams
This is a hands-on role where you’ll both shape the solution and support its delivery, bringing together technical understanding with practical, on-the-ground execution.
Your Experience
You will bring a strong systems and data background, with experience working across SAP, PLM or related enterprise platforms, and have experience working with product or specification data.
This is not a purely technical role, but it does require someone who can confidently navigate system environments and contribute to how solutions are delivered and embedded. You’ll be able to move between detail and big picture – understanding how data flows across systems, while also recognising how that data supports product, specification and operational workflows.
You’ll bring experience in
- Working with SAP, PLM or similar systems, with exposure to implementation, testing or system changes
- Working across multiple systems (e.g. ERP, specification or planning systems) to align and manage product or master data
- Exposure to product specifications, ingredients, labelling or related product data, and how these are captured and used across a business
- Translating requirements between business and technical stakeholders to support delivery Supporting system rollout, documentation or coordination, ensuring solutions are practical and adopted
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or regulated product environments is ideal, particularly where you’ve worked with complex specifications, labelling or regulatory requirements. A background in food science or product may be helpful, but is not essential if you bring strong systems and data capability.
