Registered Nurse - Recovery

About The Role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 24 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on call or overnight shifts.

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

  • Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
  • Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
  • Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
  • Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
  • Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
  • Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

  • Solid experience as a Registered Nurse (theatre / perioperative setting preferred)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
  • Experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery essential
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A background in private day hospitals preferred
