We have an exciting opportunity for a high-performing Used Vehicle Sales Consultant who is ready to take the next step into leadership as an Assistant Sales Manager (2IC) within our Used Vehicle Department.

This role is ideal for someone who has built a strong foundation in automotive sales and is now looking for career progression, greater responsibility, and long-term development within a successful dealership.

About the Role

Working closely with our Retail Sales Manager, you will take on a hands-on leadership role within the Used Vehicle department, supporting both performance and day-to-day operations.

You will

• Drive and contribute to monthly used vehicle sales targets
• Assist in managing daily sales performance, KPIs, and gross
• Support the management of used vehicle stock, including ageing, reconditioning, and presentation
• Ensure vehicles are marketed and priced in line with the current market
• Manage and follow up customer enquiries to maximise conversions
• Support and motivate the sales team while contributing to a positive team culture
• Assist with the day-to-day running of the department

About You

We’re looking for someone who is ready to step up—not step in.

• Proven success as an Automotive Sales Consultant (Used Vehicles preferred)
• A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• A desire to move into a leadership and development role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisation and time management capability
• Current Manual Driver’s Licence and Yard Manager’s Licence
• Solid computer skills
