About The Role
This role operates within a genuinely varied technical environment, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems across multiple platforms rather than being confined to a single product or codebase. The position leads, shapes, and uplifts development capability by influencing solution design, integration patterns, digital engineering practices, and platform governance across a growing digital ecosystem. It combines meaningful community impact with strong work–life balance through a 9‑day fortnight, while providing leadership over a multidisciplinary team, close collaboration with business stakeholders, and oversight of a diverse delivery pipeline spanning projects, continuous improvement, platform enhancements, and operational transitions.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
P rofessional Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, or similar technical domains
- 5+ years leading development teams, technical specialists, or digital engineering functions
- Practical hands‑on experience with one or more of:
- Power Platform
- ServiceNow
- ESRI / spatial tools
- Enterprise integration, scripting, APIs, automation tooling
Leadership
- Proven ability to coach and uplift development teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Ability to balance strategic guidance with hands‑on technical leadership
Delivery
- A strong ability to act as a technical conduit between delivery, strategy, and operations
- Providing specialist advice, translating / transitioning work to IT operations
- Building team capacity / capability in adapting and servicing current and new technologies in a complex technical environment.
