About The Role

Reporting to Group leadership, the General Manager takes full P&L ownership of an operating company within the group. You'll lead a small to mid-sized business end to end, driving top- and bottom-line performance with the support of a fast-moving parent company, a proven playbook, and strong functional teams.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full P&L, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering on gross profit and EBITDA targets
• Build and lead high-performing teams by attracting strong talent, developing managers, and holding a culture of accountability and service excellence
• Drive operational excellence by aligning systems, processes, and people to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
• Set strategic priorities, allocate resources, and make fast, data-informed decisions to accelerate business performance
• Collaborate across the broader group with finance, people operations, product, and integration teams to share insights and scale what works

Skills and Experience

• Proven leadership experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or service-based environments
• High calibre tertiary qualifications - MBA is highly advantageous
• Excellent people leadership skills, including hiring, developing, and managing teams
• Commercially sharp with strong problem-solving ability and a data-driven approach to decision making
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and drive engagement
• Resourceful and adaptable, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
