They are currently seeking a Trust Clerk to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their trust accounting expertise or take the next step in their career within a supportive, high-performing environment. Our client is seeking a motivated, personable, and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Trust account bank reconciliation
  • Receipting trust funds into their appropriate ledgers
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations
  • Monitor, process and reconcile controlled monies accounts in accordance with trust regulations.
  • Manage trust account operations, including trust-to-office journals and transfers
  • Processing payments via EFT, transfer and cheques
  • Support general and ad hoc administrative task

Ideal candidate

  • Strong understanding of trust legislations
  • 2+ years of administration experience within the trust industry
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
