About the role

As a Senior Procurement Advisor, you will operate as a trusted expert, partnering across the organisation to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes. You will provide strategic advice across the procurement life cycle, supporting stakeholders to navigate procurement processes, make informed decisions, and achieve value-for-money outcomes.

These temporary positions will work across a diverse portfolio, leading procurement activities from planning through to contract establishment, while strengthening governance and uplifting capability across the organisation. You will play a key role in balancing organisational priorities, policy requirements and commercial decisions.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, with a strong focus on strategy, governance and advisory
  • Provide practical and considered advice on procurement and contract management practices
  • Plan and lead sourcing activities and negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to support delivery of business objectives
  • Strengthen procurement governance, compliance and best practice
  • Identify and manage procurement risks while enabling effective decision-making
  • Maintain clear documentation and audit trails to support probity requirements
  • Contribute to uplifting procurement capability through coaching, guidance and support

About You

Our ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate;

  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end procurement outcomes in complex or regulated environments
  • Experience providing strategic procurement and contract management advice
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to guide outcomes effectively
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence
  • The ability to balance competing priorities and navigate differing perspectives
  • A strong understanding of procurement governance, policy and risk management
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and capability uplift
