As an Enrolled Nurse on the Orthopaedic Ward, a specialised 25-bed unit, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and professional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will encompass advocating for those in your care, ensuring they receive high-quality nursing services that adhere to our established policies and standards.In this dynamic environment, you will work under the guidance of Registered Nurses, taking responsibility for your actions while benefiting from the expertise of experienced colleagues. Your role will include assessing patient needs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities to enhance patient comfort and recovery.Moreover, you will actively participate in professional development opportunities, continually refining your skills and knowledge to provide the best care possible. Engaging in our Quality Improvement programs, you will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in our ward.If you are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of your patients and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would be thrilled to welcome you to our team on the Orthopaedic Ward!

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
