Business Development & Advancement Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development & Advancement Manager to lead strategic engagement and fundraising initiatives that support our mission and future success.

This is an exciting, newly created role within a newly established Marketing & Advancement team - designed to elevate Miwatj’s National profile and bring a fresh, modern approach to storytelling, engagement, and impact.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding our network of supporters, partners, and stakeholders. You’ll design and execute strategies that increase engagement, drive revenue, and enhance organisational visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advancement and fundraising strategies aligned to organisational goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholders
• Identify new opportunities for growth, including partnerships and sponsorships
• Lead campaigns, events, and initiatives that drive engagement and revenue
• Track, analyse, and report on performance metrics and outcomes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and impact

About You

• Proven experience in fundraising, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, or business development
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly organised with strong project management capability
• Passion for purpose-driven work and making a difference
